Gary Datta’s career reflects a rare blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and human-centered financial guidance. As a Financial Advisor and co-founder of Adson Wealth Partners LLC, he focuses on building long-term relationships rooted in trust, understanding, and intentional planning. Gary began his professional journey as a chemical engineer after moving from Kolkata, India, to the United States. He earned advanced degrees in chemical engineering and spent nearly a decade in manufacturing, where his work contributed to innovation at the company level and resulted in a U.S. patent. Alongside his engineering career, he pursued an MBA at Rutgers University, laying the groundwork for a transition into finance. After starting and running his own business, Gary developed a deep appreciation for disciplined planning, cash flow management, and long-term strategy—experience that continues to inform his work as an advisor. He entered wealth management in 2012 and spent more than a decade advising clients at nationally respected firms before co-founding Adson Wealth Partners to deliver more personalized, values-driven guidance. Gary works with clients who want to plan thoughtfully for retirement, education, legacy, and long-term security. Outside the office, he is a published poet and playwright, a home chef, and an avid traveler—creative pursuits that keep him grounded and reinforce his belief that financial planning is ultimately about supporting meaningful lives.
